Congratulations to PHS Senior High FBLA members who qualified for State FBLA competitions. Lakyn Crayne, Madison Arnold, Alyssa Langston, and Joel Barham competed at the State FBLA conference on April 7-8 in Little Rock at the Little Rock Convention Center with other schools from the whole state of Arkansas.

If a student is entering 11th or 12th grade next school year at one of the following high schools, they can sign up now for UAHT Secondary Career Center classes. To apply, make an appointment with your high school counselor. The application will remain open until all seats are filled, so we recommend applying early.

The UAHT Secondary Career & Technical Education Center is a secondary career center located on the UA Texarkana and UA Hope campuses. The Center offers area high school juniors and seniors the unique opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school at no cost. The Center’s curriculum serves as an extension of the high school curriculum offerings by providing students with hands-on experiences in a variety of career fields taught by UAHT Faculty.

PROM/GRAND MARCH INFORMATION!!
The prom is being sponsored by WIP. It will be held at The Barn at Willow Oaks on Saturday, April 5 at 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Grand March will be held in the PHS gym at 7:00 p.m. Students will need to begin lining up at 6:30 p.m. at the back doors of the gym.
All other guests attending will enter through the front doors. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Please stay seated until all students have been announced. Students will be directed to sit in the visitor section untill all have been announced.
No one will be allowed on the gym floor before, during or after Grand March. You may exit out the front doors of the gym to take photos outside.

BASEBALL CHANGE!
Game today, Friday, April 4, at Smackover has been canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.

SENIORS! CPR training is a graduation requirement. On Wednesday, April 9,we will have two CPR training sessions for seniors. There will be a morning CPR session that will start at the beginning of 2nd period. The afternoon CPR session will begin at the start of 6th period. Please remember that this is a graduation requirement and must be completed. You will need to choose the session that works best for you and your class schedule.
