Coach Poole recognized Kadence Formby as the PHS Student of the Month. He bragged on her good behavior, developing a positive attitude and making changes to better herself. He praised her for making great improvements to be successful.
Ms. Burson, PHS art teacher, recognized Olivia Kimmel who entered a national juried art competition and her artwork “Internal Beauty” was recognized by MSU jurors and accepted without special citation.
Her work will be included in Missouri State University’s Virtual Juried Exhibition for High School Art and Design Students. This year was the biggest turn-out ever with almost 800 works submitted from students across 10 states which were reviewed by our jurors. Only 459 pieces were accepted for exhibition or given special citations or awards.
Olivia has also started an Art Club for fellow art students to join.
Superintendent Robert Poole presented each school board member a certificate of appreciation from the Arkansas School Board Association. While each school showered board members with an array of items from students expressing their thankfulness for their service on the school board.
We are so very proud to award our students for their accomplishments. It makes us very proud to see the support from parents who came to see their students honored. Congratulations to all! ♥️🐺🏆
