Curley Wolves golf hosted their first home match this afternoon. Our girls team placed first with a score of 142. Lainey Robbins was a co-medalist shooting a 45 with Caytlee Poole coming in second with a close 47. Jace Cummings was a co-medalist shooting a 40. Proud of our Curley Wolves golfers! 🐺⛳️

Section 27-51-1605 - Restrictions in school zones
(a) Except as provided under subsection (b) of this section, a driver of a motor vehicle shall not use a wireless telecommunications device while operating a motor vehicle when passing a school building or school zone during school hours when children are present and outside the building.
(b) A driver of a motor vehicle who is passing a school building or school zone during school hours when children are present and outside the building may use a wireless telecommunications device while operating a motor vehicle only in an emergency.
(c) This section does not apply to a law enforcement officer engaged in the performance of his or her official duties.
So excited!!! 🎉🎉 We have a new addition to the cattle herd at our school barn!! The bull calf pictured nursing it’s mother was bred AI (Artificially Inseminated) during an Animal Science class at Prescott High School 283 days ago. Mama is vey timid with it being her first calf. The Prescott District Education Association hosted a delicious taco salad luncheon today for new members and employees. A short informative presentation was given, officers and representatives were announced and good fellowship followed. Thank you PDEA for your hospitality.
Congratulations to Prescott High School business teacher Shelby Thorton on being selected as an AR ACTE Fellow for the 2023-2024 year! Mrs. Thornton will go through the AR Association of Career and Technical Education Fellowship Program to learn how to become a CTE Leader in our state! Mrs. Thornton is beginning her second year of teaching. She teaches Personal Finance, College & Career Readiness, Accounting 1 & 2, Career Development and Keyboarding at PHS. #impactthepack

Superintendent Robert Poole welcomed his faculty and staff back to school in an afternoon meeting. As always, Mr. Poole is excited about the upcoming school year and students returning to learn. He encouraged everyone to always give their all because kids deserve nothing but the best. Mr. Poole recognized employees years of service. Five year pins were given to Oree Bradley, Clay Brown, Anthony Clark, Mikki Hastings, Crickett O’Neal and Jay Turley. Greg Dougan and David Gold received 10 year pins. Debbie Maxwell got a 15 year pin, Mildred Scott received a 25 year pin and Penny Oliver a 35 year pin. Annie Pearl Bailey has been with the Prescott School District for 45 years and proudly accepted her pin. Superintendent Poole introduced new employees and welcome them to our team with a Curley Wolf shirt and other goodies. Teachers worked tirelessly this week and last week to prepare for the 2023-2024 school year! We can’t wait to see our kids on Monday morning!! Let’s go, Wolves!!!
Ms. Annie Pearl Bailey has been with Prescott School District for 45 years!! Ms. Bailey has dedicated her life to educating children in her community. Several of her students have become coworkers who respect and love her. She has worked with eleven principals and many, many kids who still come back to visit. She is involved after her students graduate, always keeping up with where they are and what path their life has taken. She invites community members and former students to speak with her current students about real life experiences. To know her is to love her. She has definitely Impacted the Pack! She will be at her door bright and early Monday morning to greet everyone with that Pearl Bailey smile and some good advice to begin year 46!!
