Kindergarten transition day!! These kiddos are ready!

April's word of the month was CITIZENSHIP. These elementary students exhibited the characteristics of a good citizen. The fourth grade music program has been moved to 1:00 p.m. It is still on Wednesday, May 8, but has been moved to 1:00 p.m.

The Governor's Scholastic Honors Day was held this morning at the Governor's Mansion in Little Rock. Scholastic Honors Day recognizes Arkansas' best and brightest students. We are proud to have Georgie Crain and Rocco Loe representing Prescott High School. Congratulations to these two hard working, studious and dedicated Curley Wolves!

Thank you to Mr. Cannon and the agri department for building pre-k a sand box! They love it!!

Congratulations to PHS Senior High FBLA members who qualified for State FBLA competitions. Lakyn Crayne, Yeybeth Zacarias, Cayltee Poole and Charles Hatchett competed at the State FBLA conference on April 29-30 in Little Rock at the Little Rock Convention Center with other schools from the entire state of Arkansas. Lakyn Crayne placed 9th in Business Communications. Charles Hatchett placed 10th in Insurance & Risk Management. Caytlee Poole competed in Future Business Educator and Yeybeth Zacarias competed in Introduction to FBLA.

GRADUATION INFORMATION! Graduation will be held Sunday, May 5 at 3:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. No one will be allowed on the gym floor before, during or after graduation. Each senior will be assigned 4 numbered tickets. These will be signed for and given out at senior breakfast. Only these ticket holders will be allowed entrance into the gym from 2:00 to 2:30 in order for them to have preferred seating. Tickets will be checked at the door. At 2:30, doors will be opened to the general public. If you do not attend the senior breakfast, you may contact Valarie Cobb to get your tickets.

SENIOR INFORMATION! - All makeup work for seniors must be completed by Friday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. - Senior breakfast is scheduled for Monday, April 29 at 8:15 a.m. in the jr high cafeteria. This is for seniors only. - Senior Awards Day is scheduled for Monday, April 29 at 9:00 a.m. in the jr high cafeteria. Parents and grandparents are invited to attend. - On Sunday, May 5, seniors need to report to the agri building at 2:30 p.m. Graduation will begin at 3:00 p.m.
