Congratulations to the PACE students and Coach Rook at Prescott High School! The PACE Program at Prescott High School has been named a 6 of 6 Program from JAG National. JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) is the curriculum and umbrella the PACE Program operates under. The 6 of 6 Program is a great accomplishment and is what we strive for each year in JAG/PACE. PACE was one of five alternative education programs to achieve this distinction in Arkansas.Prescott PACE met or exceeded the national standard in all 6 categories. The categories are: Graduation Rate, Employment Rate, Full Time Employment Rate, Full Time Positive Outcome Rate
Further Education Rate, and Connectivity Rate (Contacting each graduate monthly for 12 months after graduation to follow up on education and job status).
JAG Seniors in Arkansas this year received over $10 million dollars in scholarships. PACE students' efforts in the program make this honor and accomplishment happen.
First grade end of the year field trip to the fairgrounds for Horse Tales! Reading, roping, shoeing, stick horse races and learning all things about horses! We are so appreciative of the volunteers that put the time and effort into organizing this fun day together for our students!

This afternoon Prescott School District honored these ladies who have given a combined 130 years of service to educating children. Superintendent Robert Poole presented each retiring employee with a plaque commemorating their years of service. Kim Jester has taught in the district for 40 years. Penny Oliver served students as a paraprofessional for 36 years. Janet Banister joined our team at the end of her 30 years of teaching but was a huge asset to our students when she became a Curley Wolf. Janette Silliman educated students for 24.5 years. Each of these women will be greatly missed. It takes a big heart to teach day in and day out. We appreciate every single day they have all given to better the children of Prescott School District.
