Prescott Schools will have a delayed start tomorrow, Thursday, February 24. School will begin at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning!

PHS students in grades 9-12, along with Mrs. McMahan, have been working on a community service project for local nursing homes residents. They collected and donated 23 baby dolls for the women and 18 blankets for the men that were delivered today. #impacttepack

The Prescott School District will periodically be conducting random searches with the drug dog for drugs or other illegal items. Today the drug dog is on campus for one of those searches. It is our job to ensure that all students are kept safe at all times while in our care. We appreciate your cooperation and help with this matter.

Thank you to Southwest Dental Outreach Programs and Arkansas Children’s Hospital for hosting their annual dental screening clinic for our PES students! #impactthepack

During the next few weeks a scoliosis program will be conducted to screen children for scoliosis in 6th grade girls and 8th grade girls and boys. A letter will be sent home this week with these students with information about the screening.

The Prescott Curley Wolves will be playing the McGehee Owls at the Regional basketball tournament in Dumas on Wednesday, February 23 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and children. I marched with the Curly Wolf Marching bands, Jr High and Sr High, for 6 years on this field, practiced here, sat in the bleachers, & cheered for our Curly Wolves (no E in Curly back then.) Now PHS sits where this field was located. As I walk the hallways at work, I am still trodding on this memory filled ground making new memories each day.
