Steven Hunter Hicks and Eshal Moloo, members of the Prescott High Chapter of Educators Rising attended the Arkansas Region 5 Educator Rising Conference and Competition on November 8, 2022, at Southern Arkansas University. Steven Hunter Hicks competed in Children’s Literature PreK-Kindergarten. He wrote and illustrated a book “A Witch In the Woods”. Eshal Moloo presented a Creative Lecture/Ted Talk. She researched and spoke on the effects of the pandemic on education.Eshal won second place in her event and advanced to state.
Educator Rising is a national organization for students who are interested in becoming a teacher sponsored by Phi Delta Kappa. Educator Rising takes the place of Future Teachers of America. Students enrolled in the Career and Technical Education Pre-Educator Program of study are eligible to become members. With the nation's shortage of teachers this program allows students to explore and gain hands-on experience in the career field of education. Upon completion of the program students can earn a certification as a Certified Teaching Assistant.


Prescott High School Animal Science classes looked on as Riley Godwin and Mr. Guidry set up cows to breed using CIDRS (Controlled Internal Drug Release). Devices will be removed next Wednesday and heifers will be ready to be bred next Friday. Our students are learning and our school farm is growing. #impactthepack





The Prescott High School prom will be sponsored by the Women in Prescott (WIP) on Saturday, April 1 at The Barn at Willow Oaks. Specific details will be released closer to the event.

PHS students enrolled in the PACE (Prescott Academic Career Education) program participated in mock interviews conducted by Ryan Harvey last week. Students are being prepped for job interviews and how to handle real life situations. #impactthepack

The Kiwanis Club invited the Prescott High School Key Club for their monthly luncheon today. President Olivia Cornelius informed Kiwanis members of their service activities planned for this year. Retake Day!!
For 9th, 10th and 11th grades at high school AND 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade at the jr high school will be Wednesday, November 16.
This is ONLY for students in 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grades that did not have their pictures taken in October.


SENIOR RETAKE DAY- NOVEMBER 16TH - WEDNESDAY
FOR ONLY SENIORS THAT DID NOT HAVE PICTURES TAKEN IN OCTOBER, NO MORE RETAKES.
A $10.00 sitting fee is due at the time pictures are taken. Cap & Gown and Tux/Drape attire will be provided:
Girls - please bring a strapless tank top for drape picture
Boys - Wear a white t-shirt for the tux picture
These pictures will be used in yearbook.
Remember school dismisses early at 2:15.
