PHS Sophomore Kihren Block was awarded the top High School Region 3 winner in the Economics Arkansas Stock Market Game at the Clinton Presidential Library on Thursday, May 1. He received a trophy, a medallion, and $125.00 for his outstanding achievement! Kihren competed in the Stock Market Game by investing in various stocks in a simulation that mirrored the market over several weeks in Mrs. Haynie’s Personal Finance Spring semester class.

They did it all today! Thank you to the park rangers at Logoly State Park for always taking good care of our students and allowing this tradition to continue!

The Arkansas Governor's Scholastic Honors Day is an annual event held at the Governor's Mansion in Little Rock, recognizing the academic achievements of the state's top students. Each high school (public and private) can nominate two senior students who best represent excellent academic achievement to attend. The event is hosted by the Governor of Arkansas.
Prescott School District was honored to have Lakyn Crayne and Caytlee Poole representing Prescott yesterday, Saturday, May 3, at Arkansas Governor’s Scholastic Honors Day.



April's Word of the Month was "Citizenship." Citizenship means being a good member of a community by following rules, showing respect, and contributing to the well-being of others. The following students demonstrated good citizenship!

Personal Finance class - Everfi Financial Literacy certifications
Congratulations to all Mrs. Haynie's Personal Finance Spring semester students who passed the Everfi Financial Literacy certification test. This certification is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to make informed and effective decisions with their financial resources. The students were introduced to key concepts such as budgeting, saving, investing, understanding credit, and planning for the future.



Superintendent Robert Poole presented Willie Wilson the 2025 Prescott School District Employee of the Year award tonight at the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce Banquet. Superintendent Poole spoke highly of Mr. Wilson and his willingness to help when needed. Mr. Wilson is a dedicated employee who is a team player. He took on a role this school year asking no questions and tackling it head on. We are thankful for Mr. Wilson and all his hard work and dedication to Mr. Poole and the district! Congratulations, Mr. Wilson!
