Due to the chance of inclement weather on Thursday, the Prescott Wolf Relays has been moved up one day to Wednesday, March 6.

Congratulations to Nelda Chavez for being selected as the Ouachita Baptist University TRIO Student of the Year!! Nelda represented OBU at the TRIO Day at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and was inducted to the Arkansas TRIO Hall of Fame.. In addition to that honor, Nelda was awarded a $60,000 scholarship to attend Ouachita Baptist University in the fall.

Prescott FFA and Nevada County 4H Career Development Events (CDE) were held today at the Prescott High School agriculture building, Prescott High School Animal Science Facility and the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Over 1000 participants from 64 schools in 4H clubs and FFA chapters across the state competed in eleven career development events and judging such as Ag Business, Ag Mechanics, Agronomy, Forestry (Junior and Senior), Land, Livestock (Junior and Senior), Poultry, Vet Science and Wildlife.
Prescott FFA competed in Ag Mechanics, Forestry, Land , Livestock and Poultry events.
Nevada County 4-H competed in Livestock events.
This is the third year that this event has been hosted by the Prescott School District and the Nevada Country Extension Office. It would not be possible without the support and hard work of all involved. Thank you to Farm Credit for grilling burgers for all participants and adults.
