As the school year draws to a close, here is important information about the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (Summer EBT) program, which provides a $120 benefit per eligible child to assist families in purchasing nutritious food during the summer.
Program Overview: Benefit Amount: $120 per eligible child.
• Purpose: To ensure children receive adequate nutrition during the summer break.
Eligibility and Application Process:
• Automatic Eligibility: Families currently participating in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) may automatically receive the Summer EBT benefit. They will receive a letter stating they will receive the benefit and do not need to apply.
• Application Required: Families not automatically enrolled are encouraged to apply to determine their eligibility. To apply or check eligibility status, families should visit the DHS website at ar.gov/summerebt the website provides detailed instructions and the necessary forms to complete the application process. Summer EBT Call Center is open on May 1, 2025. 1-833-316-2421

This week our district hosted the 3A State Track Meet. It was a long day and night but we appreciate everyone who worked hard to make it possible for us to host this event. We are thankful for anyone that helped our district make this meet a success! Most importantly thank you for supporting our Curley Wolves!




Coach Poole presented Olivia Kimmel with her certificate today for being the recipient of the 2025 NFHS Heart of the Arts Award winner! Olivia was the Arkansas winner of this award.

PHS Sophomore Kihren Block was awarded the top High School Region 3 winner in the Economics Arkansas Stock Market Game at the Clinton Presidential Library on Thursday, May 1. He received a trophy, a medallion, and $125.00 for his outstanding achievement! Kihren competed in the Stock Market Game by investing in various stocks in a simulation that mirrored the market over several weeks in Mrs. Haynie’s Personal Finance Spring semester class.
