Second grade students at Prescott Elementary received the gift of agriculture from the Nevada County Farm Bureau! 🌱
The AeroGarden is a self-contained indoor garden that uses hydroponic technology to grow plants without soil. With built-in LED lights and automated watering, it lets students grow herbs, veggies, and flowers year-round. This generous donation gives students hands-on experience in science, nutrition, and responsibility as they care for their plants.

Each year in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Health, school districts hold an in-school flu immunization clinic to provide flu vaccines to their students.
The Prescott School District Flu Immunization Clinic will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, 8:30-12:00. Students must return the completed consent form by October 1st to receive a vaccination.
Consent forms will be sent home with PreK-8th grade students.
Students 9th-12th grade can pick up a form in the PHS office.

Mrs. Honea’s 2nd Graders worked together to make a collaborative memorial poster for 9/11! Their poster commemorates the tragedy and sacrifice of the heroes, first responders, and American citizens on that day 24 years ago. ❤️🇺🇸
This is Coach Walker’s first year at PES and he’s already making an impact! This student was asking to see him as soon as he got out of the car. When asked why he needed to see him, he shared that when he lost his tooth Coach Walker made him feel better.
