We were so excited for this opportunity for our 7th - 11th graders! Be Pro Be Proud (BPBP) is a national workforce development initiative focused on attracting students and young adults to technical careers through exciting simulation experiences, and then connecting them to post-secondary opportunities and careers. Their mobile workshop unit tours local high schools and middle schools and can be customized to a variety of professions and industries that are most relevant to specific communities.
Arkansas-based nonprofit Be Pro Be Proud connects students and young adults to post-secondary training opportunities and gives them interactive exposure to high-demand and high-wage careers. They are partnering with dozens of companies to scale up their innovative approach to solving labor shortages.

Christmas Sock Day 🎄
Christmas Spirit Day ❤️🎄🎅🏼

The Prescott School District is honored to once again have students participate in the Third Annual Hamilton Haven House Christmas card contest. Hamilton Haven House co-founder and Executive Director Michele Hamilton-Rhodes along with Hamilton Haven Admin. Assistant Leslie Hughes and Christy Higginbotham joined PSD to announce winners of the contest today. Students in seventh and eighth grade were offered the opportunity to create a holiday card that would be mailed out to friends and donors of the house at year end. Contest winner was PJHS seventh grader Marley Clark and runner-up was Karlie White, also in the seventh grade.
We are very proud of these young ladies and their artistic skills.

PJHS student council held a can food drive for the past week at school. Students, employees and community members collected and donated over 1,000 cans of food that was delivered to the local Food Share Arkansas by student council members and their sponsor, Joey Christopher. Kudos to these students who saw a need in their community and stepped up to help out in a big way. That is Impacting the Pack! ♥️🐺

For the past couple of months Prescott School Distrcit has partnered with a member of the community to honor and celebrate the successes of students who are working hard to better themselves, are successful or who are making an effort to change habits and become more accomplished. At last night’s monthly school board meeting, Barry Marks, along with Superintendent Robert Poole, PHS principal Tommy Poole and PJHS principal Jay Turley, recognized Dwantesha Ross and Zackariah Armstrong for their successes. Dwantesha has become a more positive thinker and is making good grades and wise choices. Zachariah is a hard working student who scored well on his math Atlas interim. We are very proud of both of these young men. Mr. Marks presented them both with a $100.00 to show his respect and encourage them to continue doing what they are doing.

White Christmas 🎄
Christmas Spirit Week 🎄🎅🏼

Ms. Burson’s tree was made by her students using recycled water bottles. So pretty and such talent!

Mrs. Burke’s K-6 art students have prepared a beautiful display of their Christmas art! K-4 students crafted bright and colorful projects while 5-6 students created black and white works. We ♥️ their creativity! 🎄🎅🏻🌲

🎉✨ Hey, family! I'm thrilled to share that we have a sweet girl from beautiful Brazil and two amazing boys from Germany and Italy who need host families! We're working hard to deliver them the exciting news before Christmas! 🎄🎁
They'll be arriving in January and staying with us until June, and we are looking for host homes this weekend! Let’s come together to put smiles on three kids’ faces and create unforgettable memories!
Imagine sending a gift-wrapped placement to these incredible students before the holidays!😍❤️
**A little peek into their countries:**
- **Brazil:** Known for its vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and festive spirit, Brazil is home to warm-hearted people and delicious dishes like feijoada and pão de queijo.
- **Germany:** A blend of charming towns and rich history, Germany offers everything from fairy-tale castles to lively festivals like Oktoberfest, along with mouthwatering foods like bratwurst.
- **Italy:** Celebrated for its art and culinary delights, Italy is filled with breathtaking scenery, iconic landmarks, and delectable cuisine, including pasta and gelato.
