Tonight’s sr boys game will be rescheduled for a later date.
Jr high girls game will begin at 4:30 followed by jr high boys and sr girls.
During the month of January, Prescott Schools join school districts throughout the state to recognize our local school board members during Arkansas School Board Recognition Month.
We want to recognize the service and contributions made by Prescott’s five school board members as they work to improve the educational opportunities of every child in the district. Their actions and decisions affect both the present and future lives of our youngest citizens.
These volunteer leaders are chosen by election. They are responsible for maintaining school facilities, adhering to state and federal law and approving policies. They are required to spend their volunteered time to earn a minimum of six hours of professional development each year in areas related to their roles and responsibilities in order to make the best decision for Prescott students.
Our deepest appreciation is extended to Prescott School Board members Jo Beth Glass, Reed Koger, Ryan Harvey, Altha Palmer and Michael Williams whose commitment make them a dedicated public servant for Prescott School District and our community.

Prescott School District is proud to have our Superintendent Robert Poole being the voice of our kids while in meetings at the Superintendent Symposium in Little Rock with Governor Asa Hutchinson.
The Junior class will be taking the ACT on campus on Tuesday, February 23. The test will begin at 8:30 a.m. This is for both virtual and on campus students. If you are virtual, you will need to be here no later than 8:15 a.m. The test will take place at the elementary PE center. Students will need to enter thru the back door of the PE center.

BASKETBALL CHANGE - TONIGHT
Tonight’s games against Centerpoint have been moved TO CENTERPOINT!
JG SG SB will play in Centerpoint tonight beginning at 5:00. Vouchers (2) will be given to players today.
Prescott School District will have a complete Virtual Day tomorrow, Monday, January 11. Buses will not run. Students will work from home.
Thank you to SRO Autry and SRO Fatheree for helping keep our students safe every day. Also, huge thank you to our local and state law enforcement agencies for watching over our school and always coming immediately when we call! Congratulations Rocco Loe, Rocco Patrick, Gavin Hatley, Eli Lowdermilk, Caytlee Poole, Carlee Glass amd Kensley Chalmers for winning the SWAEC Jr High Virtual Quiz Bowl tournament today. They scored a total of 1,430 points over 4 games!

Report cards will be sent home with PJHS and PHS students today. PES report cards were sent home yesterday.
Prescott School District will continue Virtual/Flex Fridays beginning this Friday, January 8. Students are not required to attend and will not be counted absent. This means that students attending school face-to-face in our district will have the option of completing needed assignments from home. Virtual students will use these days to get caught up on assignments. This will give teachers the time they need to prepare videos, lesson plans, interventions, and time for virtual students. Students who attend school on Fridays will use these days to get caught up or receive help in areas they are struggling in. There will be NO new teaching on these Fridays. Teachers will also have the option of requesting students to come for needed instruction. We understand that this is not an option for some parents and buses will still be running and meals will still be provided to all students.
