👀👀IMPORTANT!!👀👀
We are trying to plan for upcoming school year!
It is imperative that we know if you are planning to send your child to school or if you are going the virtual route. If you have not already done this, please return your letter or call 887-2514 by TUESDAY, AUGUST 4 to let us know. Planning ahead is one way we can provide the best education for your child and we need your help with this. If you do not contact us with a decision, your child will be enrolled at school for onsite learning.

Attention Prescott parents:
Letters were sent out if your child is due for an immunization prior to school resuming in the fall.
ALL students starting kindergarten are required to have a current physical exam and up to date immunizations.
ALL students turning 11 years of age between 9/1/2019 and 9/1/2020 are required to have a Tdap vaccine.
ALL students entering 7th grade are required to have a MCV-4 vaccine.
ALL students turning 16 years of age between 9/1/2019 and 9/1/2020 are required to have a MCV-4 booster.
ALL students immunizations must be up to date regardless if they are virtual or on campus.
These immunizations are required by the state for all students attending public school. If your child has an exemption for any of the required vaccines, you will need to bring a new exemption letter from the state each year by the first day of school.
Currently the Nevada County Health Dept is closed for immunizations due to COVID-19, so you will need to make an appointment with your child's pediatrician for their vaccinations.
Please bring or send the updated immunization records to the school as soon as possible. They can also be faxed to 870-887-3398.
If you have any questions, please contact Candy Rogers crogers@prescottschool.net or Jade Cornelius jcornelius@prescottschool.net

In preparation for the upcoming school year, we would like to share the following guidelines with parents and guardians.

- All buses will have a bus monitor who will take each student’s temperature when they get on the bus regardless of age.
- Everyone will have an assigned seat.
- Everyone will sit one person to a seat.
- If you do not have a mask, you will not be allowed on the bus.
- Please make sure someone is home to stay with a student who is not allowed on the bus because of temperature over 100 degrees or they do not have a mask.
- Buses will arrive to pick up students later than usual because no one will be allowed in school buildings until 7:45 a.m.
- Bus drivers will be making contact with all parents/guardians of students that ride their bus route.
⏰Arrival at school
- No students will be allowed in any school buildings or on campus until 7:45 a.m.
- When students enter the building, they must go straight to their classroom.

✏️Every student in the district will have an assigned seat on the bus, in every class and/or class period and in the cafeteria.
✏️We will do our best to keep students six feet apart but there will be times this is not possible. We ask for both your and your child’s cooperation during this process.
✏️If someone does not wear a mask as directed, they will be considered in violation of dress code and they will be sent home to do virtual learning.
✏️Masks must be school appropriate.
💻 Virtual learning

- To protect others, your child will be placed in an isolation area away from other students and asked to wear a mask until you arrive.
- Upon receipt of school notification, it is up to you to decide if and when your child needs medical attention.
- We recommend you contact your child’s medical provider and follow their specific guidance regarding the next steps you will need to take.
- Our District point of contact for the Arkansas Department of Health is School Nurse Candy Rogers, 887-7606, as well as Jade Cornelius, 887-7820, who are required to report to our local health department immediately any case of confirmed COVID-19 while maintaining confidentiality.
