Students have been signing this National Honor Society book at Prescott High School since 1965. The tradition continued this morning as students were inducted into NHS receiving pins and certificates.

Each year Ouachita Baptist University TRIO Educational Talent Search offers incentives to students who are participants in one of their educational programs. This year for O.B.U Talent Search students who regularly attended tutoring sessions were given an opportunity to be selected to receive an Apple iPad, Apple Pencil, and case to be used for future learning experiences. Pictured are O.B. Talent Search members, Ms. Pearl Bailey, OBU Satellite instructor, and Shuntrella Johnson, an eighth grader, who is the recipient of this year’s incentive. She will be a freshman at Prescott High next school year and this device is going to be very helpful in her academic journey.

Hard work always pays off! Mrs. Haynie’s Survey of Business classes received a combined total of 103 certifications during the school year! #impactthepack

Prescott School District will be having an active shooter drill this week. During this drill, all campuses will be under lockdown. While this drill is a requirement of the Arkansas Department of Education, we have them to ensure the safety of all students while they are in our care. As always, thank you for your support.

Congrats on a record breaking season! 🐺⚾️

Keyonna Nard, a 2018 Prescott Curley Wolf honor graduate, stopped by Prescott Junior High to share her plans after her fall graduation from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Ms. Nard, a biology major, is applying to medical schools to further her career of becoming a Neonatal intensive Care Unit (NICU) doctor for premature babies who need medical assistance to develop and become stronger.
Although she is preparing to score high on a major exam which will attract top medical schools, Ms. Nard took time out of her preparation to address Ms. Pearl Bailey’s classes. Keyonna advised the junior high students to work hard to gain a good education but emphasized that participation in extracurricular activity offers an emotional balance. She told the students that while their relationships with friends will change, a good education will “stay with you and give you opportunities to dream” of future careers or occupations. Ms. Nard said the key to realizing dreams is to set extraordinary goals and to work hard to reach them or exceed them.
