The Prescott School District is honored to once again have students participate in the Second Annual Hamilton Haven House Christmas card contest. Hamilton Haven House co-founder and Executive Director Michele Hamilton-Rhodes along with Hamilton Haven Admin. Assistant Leslie Hughes and friend, Kelvin Jackson, joined PSD employees Shelby Burke, Jay Turley and Valarie Cobb to announce winners of the contest today. Students in fifth and sixth grade were offered the opportunity to create a holiday card that would be mailed out to friends and donors of the house at year end. A panel of five judges chose artwork of two individuals. Contest winner was PJHS fifth grader Ruby Cornelius and runner-up was Leyla Zacarias, also in the fifth grade. We are very proud of these young ladies and their artistic skills. Artwork will be displayed at both lobbies at the Bank of Delight and Farmers Bank and Trust this month.
