Jacobi Nolen, a former Curley Wolf, returned to Pearl Bailey’s classroom with his
roommate and current Ouachita Baptist University Tiger football team member
Braylen Butler to share words of wisdom.
Jacobi encouraged the students to work as a team and to be there for other
classmates when they need academic and personal support: kindness doesn't
cost a penny, but it may have a lasting impact on others. Both Jacobi and Braylen
said that playing sports allows them to attend Ouachita Baptist but being scholar
athletics will make it possible for them to obtain a degree in accounting and
business administration. Braylen informed the class that Jacobi loves to brag
about his family, school, and town and that he frequently makes the journey down
Interstate 30 to visit the campus and to offer a helping hand to our current Curley
Wolves. In his parting words Jacobi asked the student athletes to be kind to each
other and not get upset when and if Ms. Bailey calls them in during athletics to
make up missing assignments: she and the coaches have been teaming up
together for years to support academics among student athletes. #impactthepack

Our elementary and high school students outdid themselves today! Mrs. Marsha Poole came to pick up items collected during the drive sponsored by the PHS Student Council. She will be delivering half of the items collected today to Rolling Fork, Mississippi while the other half will be given to the Wynne community. We are so proud that our students are learning to give back to communities in need! Thank you to everyone who donated! #impactthepack #curleywolvesgiveback
