October is also a special month to take a moment to recognize the leaders who play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students - our principals! They dedicate their time, energy, and passion to empower both our students and teachers. We are truly grateful for the positive impact you make! #impactthepack #NationalPrincipalsMonth

Prescott Jr High students attended a vaping awareness assembly yesterday given by youth speaker and motivational speaker, Robb Holla. He warns students of the dangers of vaping but also about the risks of nicotine, drugs and alcohol. He kept students engaged with demonstrations and crowd interaction. “You don’t have to be high, you don’t have to be drunk, and you don’t have to smoke to have a good time. Being sober makes you remember all the fun.” and “If you follow the crowd, you will never end up where you were meant to be.” are just a couple of the motivational quotes Robb Holla used to reiterate why studnets should make wise choices to be drug free.

The soft lockdown has been lifted. As always, student safety is top priority. We appreciate the support of our parents, patrons and community.

The Prescott School District is under a soft lockdown at this time. We have not had a direct threat to the school. There is a concern in the community and we are on a soft lockdown for precautionary reasons. Student safety is our top priority. We will notify you when the soft lockdown is lifted.

In October we celebrate National Fire Prevention Month to raise awareness about the importance of fire safety.
