🎄 Christmas Spirit Week 🎄🎅🏻 December 16-19 🎄

Each year on December 7, Pearl Harbor Survivors, veterans, and visitors from all over the world come together to honor and remember the 2,403 service members and civilians who were killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. A further 1,178 people were injured in the attack, which permanently sank two U.S. Navy battleships (the USS Arizona and the USS Utah) and destroyed 188 aircraft.
On August 23, 1994, the United States Congress designated December 7 as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Every year, remembrance events are held at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial, culminating in a commemoration ceremony on December 7. (nps.gov)

1st grade students worked with their families to make a turkey during Thanksgiving. Some chose to decorate their turkey and some chose to disguise their turkey. They were ALL fantastic. Awards were given in both categories.

November's word of the month was Trustworthy. The following students were excited to receive a book for modeling that characteristic.

2nd grade: Kenley, Trystan, Karter, and Leonardo

This year the Prescott Food Share has served meals and assisted hundreds of families in need. The holiday season brings additional people to our community with similar needs. To help support this, Prescott Junior High Student Council would like to help out. Students may bring a non-perishable item to the drop boxes in the hall by Mr. Christopher’s classroom. These canned items will bring much needed relief for families in our community. Items will be delivered to the Prescott Food Share during the last week of school before Christmas break. If you would like to give, you may drop items off at the Prescott Jr High School office for Mr. Christopher and student council to pick up.

We are so proud of these kiddos! These jr high students have been working hard and recently scored 3’s and 4’s on the ATLAS Interim! We celebrated their success on a snack day with pizza and some free time outside! Our goal is for them to keep up the hard work while encouraging others to do the same! #impactthepack
