Tonight at the Prescott School Board meeting Superintendent Poole presented Trevor Moseley with his high school diploma. Trevor will be leaving Sunday to serve our country in the military. Prescott School District wanted to make sure Trevor had an opportunity to receive his diploma.

Fourth grade parents, Student supplies left in the classroom and desks will be handed out by fourth grade teachers on Monday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon in the carline between the elementary and jr high buildings.

We are pleased to announce that our district has been approved to have two preschool classes. We will be starting the sign up process very soon. Space will be limited. Children that will be starting kindergarten the next school year will have first priority for the spots available. 📣CHEER TRYOUT INFORMATION 📣 Sending tryout video - If you are having trouble sending your tryout video, you can upload it to YouTube then send the URL link to your cheer coach via email. Paperwork - If you have not turned in your paperwork, please email that information to your cheer coach. Follow up - After you send the information above, contact the cheer coach to make sure they got your submission. Announcing the 2020-2021 cheer squads - We will post a list of the Jr and Sr cheer squads on social media (FBk, Instagram, Twitter) and on the school website and app on Monday, May 4 @ 2:00 p.m. Photo opportunity - There will be a sign posted on the fence of the elementary playground at 3:00 p.m. for those that made the 2020-2021 cheer squad to take photos for you to have to remember the day. 🐺. ATHLETES!! 🐺 Please return your uniforms! Jr and Sr high girls track, senior girls softball, and senior baseball players need to bring your uniforms to the back of the gym on Monday, May 4, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. There will be boxes or tubs to put them in and a sheet to sign letting us know you returned your uniform.

Senior Ad Info: Please drop off pictures and/or payment Monday, May 4, between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon in front of the high school. Email pictures if possible.

If you haven’t already, download our PRESCOTT APP from the App Store! This app was designed just for our district. Everything Prescott School District will be at your finger tips! This app is directly in sync with our web page design. Anyone can search the “P” Prescott app (shown below) at the App Store and download. The following are a few beginner pointers for the app: - Live Feed is the district’s personal social media page. This is linked to the district Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter. - News will also give you lengthy information needed. - Events will list activities taking place in the district by date. - Athletics provides athletic event times, dates and address where event is taking place with scores as available. - Staff lists each teacher, administrator and counselor by building in alphabetical order. After clicking on the employee, you can email or call them. - Dining provides you with a day to day menu for breakfast and lunch. - Student grade check allows you to login with your students password that was sent home earlier in the year and check their grades and attendance. - At the very bottom of the page is a Report An Incident tab. All incidents reported are anonymous unless you choose to leave your name. -The little folders in the top right corner of your screen can help you sort by building in most all categories. If you have questions about the app or website, you may contact Valarie Cobb at the email address under district staff.

Seniors, The Kiwanis Scholarship and Farm Bureau Scholarship are due this Friday. You may turn them in tomorrow, Thursday, April 30, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon in the car line.

SENIORS, Don’t forget! Prescott Lions Club, Dorothy Odom and Junior Auxiliary scholarships are due tomorrow. Please drop them off in the car line between the jr high and elementary buildings tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.

By earning a national ranking in the top 40%, Prescott High School achieved status as a U.S. News Best High School and gained eligibility to display a U.S. News-trademarked 2020 Best High Schools award. U.S. News 2020 Best High Schools numerically ranked nearly 18,000 schools nationwide this year. Rankings were based on AP and IB data directly from the College Board and International Baccalaureate, as well as state assessment data and graduation rates from each state, and other data. There are wonderful things happening in Curley Wolf country! Our district is constantly working to provide the best educationally, safe environment for our students!
