Since it is June 1 and AAA is allowing us to open up our facilities, we will allow the usage of our facilities as long as they are taken care of. The track, practice football field and basketball court at the elementary school are available for use. We ask that you please leave them better than they were when you came. Please make sure that all trash is picked up and nothing is left behind. No one is allow on the football field. No loitering in parking lots. Please enter the track from the Moore’s Highway end. No bicycles, scooters or skateboards on the track, please. We want to be able to share our facilities with the community. We want children to have a safe place to come. We need your help to ensure that this can happen. If you see anything suspicious or anyone doing anything they should not be, please use the Incident Report on our Prescott School District app to report it. This is an anonymous report.

Attention Prescott parents: Letters are being sent out this week if your child is due for an immunization prior to school resuming in the fall. ALL students starting kindergarten are required to have a current physical exam and up to date immunizations. ALL students turning 11 years of age between 9/1/2019 and 9/1/2020 are required to have a Tdap vaccine. ALL students entering 7th grade are required to have a MCV-4 vaccine. ALL students turning 16 years of age between 9/1/2019 and 9/1/2020 are required to have a MCV-4 booster. These immunizations are required by the state for all students attending public school. If your child has an exemption for any of the required vaccines, you will need to bring a new exemption letter from the state each year by the first day of school. Currently the Nevada County Health Dept is closed for immunizations due to COVID-19, so you will need to make an appointment with your child's pediatrician for their vaccinations. Please bring or send the updated immunization records to the school as soon as possible. They can also be faxed to 870-887-3398. If you have any questions, please contact Candy Rogers crogers@prescottschool.net or Jade Cornelius jcornelius@prescottschool.net
