STATE BAND TICKET INFORMATION!! Our Curley Wolf band is competing in the State Marching Contest at War Memorial Stadium on Monday, November 1. Please see below for ticket purchasing procedures: Purchasing Tickets to the ASBOA State Marching Contest 2021 Tickets must be purchased online through the GoFan Ticketing Fan app to attend the ASBOA State Marching Contest. Walk-up online ticket purchases can occur by scanning a QR code at the venue and purchasing tickets with your mobile phone/through the GoFan Ticketing app. Credit cards will be accepted through the app. No cash or credit cards will be accepted at the event. A $1 per ticket processing fee will be added for each ticket in the order. Adult tickets $10 - children 5 and younger are free with a paying entrant. Mobile tickets can only be redeemed once. Beginning Thursday, October 28, wearing a mask at the Prescott School District will be optional EXCEPT while students are on school buses. Masks will continue to be required on school buses. On October 19, members of the Prescott High Chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America attended the 4th Annual CTSO Day at the Arkansas State Fair. This event was sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Education Division of Career and Technical Education. The members attending were: Nelda Chavez, Logan Cox, Hannah O’Neal, Alanie Spatt, Kennedy McKillion, Kourtnie Lewis, Khelshanti Murphy, Heather Lanicek, and Emily Huerta. The event is held to give students an opportunity to learn what is involved in putting on the largest event in the state, the Arkansas State Fair. The students were first introduced and heard a welcome from Mr. Ross White, Director of Division Career and Technical Education, Mr. Johnny Keys, Director of the Department of Education, and officers from each Career and Technical Student Organization (FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, DECA, HOSA, Skills USA and TSA). During the breakout sessions of the CTSO Summit students were educated on the various careers that are related to organizing and implementing a state fair. The following is a list of the Careers and the responsibilities of each career: Interim General Manager, Director of Sales and Promotions, Livestock Director, Food and Beverage, Director of Maintenance & Operations, Midway Director, and Fairgrounds Security. After the summit students were given an opportunity to enjoy the food, friends, rides and animals at the fair.

Prescott senior and jr. high FBLA attended the Fall FBLA Leadership Conference with a “Success Starts Here” theme at Hempstead Hall at the UAHT campus today. They participated in great breakout sessions and enjoyed guest speaker American Idol Finalist Dave Pittman from Mountain Home.

We missed the band in the homecoming parade but they had work to do! And they got it done! The Curley Wolves band competed at the regional contest this afternoon. They earned a rating of 2 which means Excellent and they qualified for the State Marching Contest at War Memorial on November 1! Way to go, band!! 🐺🎺🥁
