PES readers enjoyed Pop-By Reading Awards today! This time Curley Q’s special guests were Mrs. McLelland and Lily! The Jr. High Cheer Squad did a great job celebrating the reading success of 2nd - 4th grade and encouraged everyone to “do their best on the test!” 📚

The PHS Key Club teamed up with their parent Kiwanis Chapter this weekend to help keep Nevada County beautiful by picking up trash along Ron Herrod Drive! 🌿🧹 After their hard work, Kiwanis treated the group to a well-deserved meal, thank you for supporting our students and community! 💙

The Wolf Pride Marching Band traveled to Fordyce today to compete in For The Culture Battle of the Bands and placed 2nd in Percussion and 2nd place overall! We’re proud of the hard work and dedication these students continue to show. Way to represent Prescott! 🏆

Congratulations to the Prescott Curley Wolves Boys Track Team on an outstanding performance at Gurdon last night, bringing home a big win! The JV boys team also had a strong showing, finishing in third place, and the Lady Wolves earned a third-place finish as well! Shoutout to Peyton Christopher for earning the Boys High Point Award! Great job to all of our track athletes on a fantastic meet!

We are proud to announce Mrs. Jessi Thompson as Prescott School District’s Teacher of the Year! A proud Prescott graduate, Mrs. Thompson has dedicated 15 years to serving students at PES. She recently achieved National Board Certification, a testament to her commitment to excellence in education. In addition to her work in the classroom, she serves as the PJH Cheer Coach and the PES Parent and Family Engagement Facilitator. Mrs. Thompson truly loves what she does, and it shows in the impact she makes each day. We are so proud of her and grateful to have her as part of our school family! Congratulations! 🎉
