ACT 1039 - Dyslexia Screening and Intervention

During the 2021-22 school year, the program that the Prescott School District used was the Sonday System I, II, and Let's Play Learn. Dyslexia intervention was provided for 97 students. We have 108 students enrolled in our school that have been identified in any year.

During the 2020-21 school year, the Prescott School District identified twenty-nine students with characteristics of dyslexia. Dyslexia intervention was provided for 78 students using the Sonday System.

During the 2019-20 school year, the Prescott School District identified thirteen students with characteristics of dyslexia. Dyslexia intervention was provided for 52 students using the Sonday System or the Barton Reading and Spelling System.

During the 2018-19 school year, the Prescott School District identified thirteen students with characteristics of dyslexia. Dyslexia intervention was provided for 49 students using the Sonday System or the Barton Reading and Spelling System.

During the 2017-18 school year, the Prescott School District identified fourteen students with characteristics of dyslexia. Dyslexia intervention was provided for 32 students using the Barton Reading and Spelling System.

During the 2016-2017 school year, the Prescott School District identified seven students with characteristics of dyslexia. Dyslexia intervention was provided for 29 students using the Barton Reading and Spelling System.
