Prescott High School would like to address a new policy for the length of short pants. Your child should have a letter from the principal, Mr. Tommy Pooe, describing the new policy. Your child has not given you the letter with the new policy, the policy is as follows: If a student is reported to have short pants that do not come to at least the top of his/her knees, then the student will be required to wear long pants for the remainder of the school year.
This policy applies also to the length of short pants that have been rolled up at the waist which causes them to be non-compliant. In the event that the student is non-compliant in wearing the long pants, the student will be suspended for one (1) day for insubordination.
