Caytlee Poole and Rocco Loe were recognized and presented a check by Mrs. Rucker from the Daughters of the American Revolution tonight at the Prescott school board meeting for being state winners in the DAR essay contest.
Caytlee’s essay was also a regional winner being judged against approximately 900 other essays in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. A committee was scheduled to meet in April to determine who advanced after winning regional but were unable to do so because of the pandemic. This is the first time in school history for a Prescott essay to advance to the regional level.
